Why Choose Us?
Michael McGee wanted to create a law firm that really cared about his clients. Other law firms seem to be distant and impersonal and hard to get hold of. Michael realised that many people were not getting the legal service they deserve and he was determined to do things better than the other solicitors out there.
We specialise in whiplash claims and we really care about our clients. Michael realised that many other solicitors claim to specialise in personal injury law but do not have the focused expertise of a law firm that specialises in the area of whiplash claims.

How Much Compensation Will I Get For a Whiplash Claim?
The amount of compensation that you can get for a whiplash claim varies depending on how serious the injuries are. If your injuries clear up in a matter of days or week and they do not have a big affect on your day to day life, then the amount of compensation you will receive will be relatively low such as between £500 to £2,500.
However if you have sustained much more serious injuries and your whiplash symptoms continue for over a year and have an affect on your work and family, then your compensation claim will be closer to between £5,000 to £15,000 depending on the individual circumstances of your case.
We have a compensation calculator which you can use to hopefully give you a better idea of what compensation settlement you might receive for your case.
Taxi Claim Settles for £3,500
We recently dealt with a case for a client who was a passenger in a taxi and was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
We obtained a medical report for our client and it was expected that the whiplash symptoms would continue for approximately 6 months. In that case a figure of £3,500 compensation was agreed.
Bus Passenger Settles for £9,000
Another case that we recently dealt with was for a client who was a passenger on a bus in which there was a heavy collision and he sustained whiplash injuries to his neck, shoulder and back.
We obtained a medical report which gave a timeframe of 18 months for the whiplash to be resolved. We were able to settle our client’s case for the sum of £9,000.
Hopefully this gives you an idea of the kind of compensation settlement figures that can be agreed in these sorts of cases.
Can I Claim for Whiplash?
Whiplash injuries can arise in a number of different cases. The most common is a car accident but they can also occur if you slip and fall and your head can whip back due to the heavy fall.
Whether you can make a claim for compensation for your whiplash injury will depend on whether it can be shown that someone else has caused that injury and are negligent.
An example of this is that if you are a passenger in a car which is involved in an accident then you will be able to claim for compensation because the other driver has caused the accident and your injuries, you are then able to make a claim for compensation.
If you are unsure as to whether or not you can make a claim for compensation then feel free to call us to discuss the case and we will be able to very quickly advise you as to whether you are able to make a claim for compensation or not.
How Much Will It Cost?

We also make sure you keep 100% of your compensation after an accident.

What is a Whiplash Injury?
Whiplash is most common following a car accident but can also be caused by other accidents such as tripping or slipping.
Whiplash occurs when a person’s neck whips backward and forward very suddenly. This extends the muscles beyond their typical range of motion, causing them damage. It can take hours or even days for symptoms to appear. When they do, symptoms typically include:-
- Neck, shoulder and back pain
- Stiffness & soreness of the neck
- Headaches & Nausea
Whiplash is most common following a car accident, particularly rear-end collisions, but can also be caused by other accidents such as tripping or slipping. Scientific studies show whiplash can be sustained at speeds as low as 5 miles per hour.
Whiplash injuries can cause long-term pain. Usually symptoms arise within 24 hours of the incident, after which they gradually worsen over the following days. This discomfort can continue for months. In some instances, the symptoms become chronic and cause ongoing issues.
Not only are whiplash injuries painful, they can be so severe that your ability to drive, sleep, exercise and work are affected. This can have a serious impact on your life.
