Aidan McAleenan Solicitor
About Aidan McAleenan Solicitor
Over the past 20 years I have gained a wealth of experience dealing with a variety of legal problems. As a native of Belfast I began my training with P.J. McGrory and Co Solicitors in 2001 and have worked in private practice continuously since.
Of particular importance to me is the personal relationship I have with my client as I will do all I can to ensure they receive the best possible service, that I am available to them whenever the need arises and that any and all issues are addressed without delay.
Best Part of the Job
For me it is understanding the client’s needs, identifying what is required to secure the best outcome possible and then securing that outcome. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than securing a successful outcome and having an overjoyed client at the conclusion of a case.
I also recognise that clients can find the often complex nature of legal proceedings daunting. I feel it is vital to try and remove that stress and anxiety from the client by developing a positive relationship with them which always assists in seeking to secure the best possible outcome. I will leave no stone unturned in that objective.
Education and Professional Memberships
I obtained my Degree in Law and Government (2:1) at the University of Ulster before attending the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s University where I was awarded a Distinction in my Certificate in Professional Legal Studies. I have been a member of the Roll of Solicitors in NI since 2003.
Areas of Expertise
Over the last 20 years I have gained a wide experience in a number of legal areas but with a particular focus and expertise in personal injury litigation, criminal defence work and matrimonial cases.
I have represented clients across all levels of the Court system from County Court to High Court and from Magistrates to Crown Court involving high value compensation settlements and serious criminal offences.

- Assault charges

Hobbies and Interests
Family and friends are very important to me. I have also been a keen sportsman in the past having played football at Irish League level and representing my country at student level. I have always enjoyed the competitive nature of sport but more so these days I find the mind is willing but the legs cannot be found.
